The story follows a young woman named Miriam who is cursed with crystals slowly growing through her body. Ten years ago, an alchemist named Gebel summoned demons into the world by sacrificing people with crystal curses like Miriam. Now Gebel controls a demon-filled castle, and Miriam must enter it to stop him before the curse completely takes over her body. Miriam was once friends with Gebel, but he has become corrupted by demonic powers. She teams up with other characters, including Johannes, an alchemist who wants to help her, and Zangetsu, a demon hunter. Miriam must fight through the castle and face Gebel to save both herself and humanity from the demon invasion.
