Carnal Instinct Story
The game is set in the ancient land of Sabu, a place where the life-giving Euphoris River runs beside ruined cities and sand-swept plains. The God-Queen Kethra has not been seen for a thousand years, and in her absence, eight powerful demigods — once her personal bodyguards — now rule Sabu as warlords. These immortal beings fight each other for control, and the people of the land suffer greatly. The player starts as a slave, a prisoner with no power and no name. Over time, the player grows in strength and begins to carve out a place in Sabu, drawing the attention of gods, creatures, and the people who live along the Euphoris. The story has fully voice-acted quests and grows as the player interacts with the world.
Carnal Instinct Gameplay
The game is played in a large open-world from a third-person perspective. Players can explore the land of Sabu on foot and interact with a wide cast of NPCs that include human, anthro, exotic, and hybrid races. The player’s character is fully customizable, with sliders for body shape, chest size, body fat, ethnicity, and more. Players can choose to play as male, female, or Futanari. As the player gains power, the character’s body can be changed from a mostly human form to animal-deity forms such as Feline, Jackal, Crocodilian, and Draconic, and eventually into full mythical forms like Centaur, Naga, or Sphinx. Combat uses melee weapons, including daggers, longswords, spears, and a spade.

The game features a large range of playable races with unique body customization options tied to each form. Players can turn specific types of adult content on or off to match their preferences. The game includes Anthro, Human, and Mythical race content and supports Male, Female, and Futa player options. Carnal Instinct supports only English, with full voice acting. It has Steam Cloud saves and is a single-player game. The development team releases major updates at least once every three months, with additional bug fix and content updates in between.
