DELTARUNE is a role-playing video game developed and published by Toby Fox. The game was released on October 31, 2018, for PC with Chapter 1 available as a free download. Chapter 2 came out on September 17, 2021. More chapters are planned for future release. DELTARUNE serves as a follow-up to the popular game Undertale and takes place in a similar universe with familiar characters appearing in new situations.

DELTARUNE Story
The story follows a human teenager named Kris who lives in a small town called Hometown. Kris goes to school with other monster children, including Susie, a tough purple dragon-like creature. One day, Kris and Susie fall into a strange place called the Dark World. There, they meet Ralsei, a friendly prince who tells them about an ancient prophecy. The prophecy says that three heroes must seal Dark Fountains to prevent darkness from taking over everything. Kris, Susie, and Ralsei form a team to complete this task. As they travel through different Dark Worlds, they meet various characters who either help them or try to stop them. The story continues across multiple chapters.
DELTARUNE Gameplay
DELTARUNE uses a turn-based combat system where players control a party of three characters. During battles, players can choose to attack enemies or try to talk to them peacefully. The game includes bullet-dodging sections where players must move a heart-shaped cursor to avoid enemy attacks. Unlike Undertale, DELTARUNE allows players to control multiple party members who each have different abilities and magic spells. Players explore towns, dungeons, and other areas while talking to characters and solving simple puzzles. The game saves progress automatically, and players can return to previous areas to explore more.
DELTARUNE Features
The game includes colorful pixel art graphics that look similar to Undertale but with smoother animations.
