I Am Your Beast is a covert revenge thriller first-person shooter game developed and published by Strange Scaffold along with Frosty Pop. The game was released on September 10, 2024, for PC. Players take control of Alphonse Harding, a retired secret agent who spent six years away from service. After refusing to return for another “one last job” from his former employer, the Covert Operations Initiative (COI), Harding becomes hunted across the North American wilderness and must fight back against the military forces sent after him.

The game follows Alphonse Harding, who worked as a secret agent for the Covert Operations Initiative. After retiring for six years, he wants nothing more than peace in the wilderness. His ex-boss keeps calling him back for missions, but Harding refuses to return to that violent life. When he declines the latest mission, the COI begins sending armed forces to hunt him down. This starts a war between Harding and his former organization. The entire campaign features voice acting, with radio conversations between characters during missions and between levels. Players learn about Harding’s past and his relationship with his former handler, Burkin, who trained him to be a killer.

The game is a high-speed first-person shooter where players must move quickly through small levels while completing objectives. Harding starts every mission without weapons and must take guns from enemies he defeats. Players can kick enemies, jump on their heads to kill them, slide into opponents, throw logs or empty weapons, pick up dropped guns, and use bear traps or throwing knives. Every weapon has limited bullets, so players constantly switch between different firearms. Objectives vary from killing all enemies to destroying satellites or interacting with laptops, then escaping through an exit hatch. Speed is important because the game times every level and gives players grades from D to S rank based on completion time and creative kills. Performing special kills like headshots or knife throws actually gives players bonus time. Each level takes only seconds to minutes to finish, but players can replay them for better scores and complete bonus objectives.

Players can climb trees with superhuman speed, vault over obstacles, and slide under low barriers while fighting. There are also environmental hazards, like explosive barrels, that players can use against enemies. Enemies react to player actions with audio cues and will try to flank or cut off escape routes. The game features multiple game modes beyond the story, including Challenge mode, COI Support Group mode, which shows perspectives of soldiers who survived encounters with Harding, and Cold Sweat mode with harder missions.
