You work as a content moderator for a social media platform called SelfieBook. Your job is to review photos that people post and decide whether each image follows the website rules or should be removed. The platform has strict guidelines about what content is acceptable, and you must judge each photo carefully. While you work, your boss Sophie sends you messages during each level. She has a flirty and friendly personality, and you can choose how to respond to her messages. Your dialogue options influence how your relationship develops with Sophie. As you moderate more images, Sophie shares personal stories and photos with you. The game covers 14 days of work, with each day presenting new photos to moderate and new conversations with Sophie.

The game uses a unique presentation style where everything appears on a phone or computer screen interface. This creates the feeling that you are really working at a desk and messaging with your boss. The art style is minimalistic, with characters shown without detailed facial features but in a stylish way. Sophie is the main character you interact with, and she becomes more open as you spend time talking with her. The game includes adult content and illustrations that you review as part of your job. There is a sequel called Lewd Mod 2 that continues the story from Day 15 onwards. The game also has a spin-off called Lewd Mod Noir, where you work as a spy analyzing surveillance photos.
