Spirit Valley Story
For a very long time, friendly spirits from another place have been visiting the human world. These spirits would seek closeness with helpful humans and, in return, bless them with good fortune. However, in recent years, these visits have stopped almost completely. Something dark is happening in the game, and the player is called to find out what is going on. The player takes on the role of a character who follows in his uncle’s footsteps and enters the magical land of Spirit Valley.
Spirit Valley Gameplay
Spirit Valley is a creature collecting RPG played with turn-based combat. The player travels across the map, moving from area to area and running into wild spirits. To add a spirit to the team, the player must weaken it in battle first and then use a Spirit Crystal to capture it. Once a spirit is part of the team, the player must build a bond with it. Stronger bonds are built by performing well in intimate mini-game scenes with captured spirits. Spirits have individual stats, including hit points, stamina, attack, defence, and speed, all of which are used in battle. The game takes around 6 to 7 hours to complete on average.
Spirit Valley Features
The game includes character customization, where the player can adjust the look of the main character and equip spirits with items that change their stats. There is an animated adult scene gallery for players who want to view unlocked content. Spirit Valley supports Steam Achievements, full controller support, Steam Cloud saves, and Family Sharing. It is playable on Windows and is also compatible with the Steam Deck, though some features may need adjustment on that device. The game is available in five languages: English, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. A separate soundtrack DLC is also available for players who enjoy the in-game music.
