Four factions are locked in an epic conflict. Arleon, knights of old, battling each other for dominance. Rana, ancient tribes fighting for survival in the swamp. Loth, necromancers raising the dead to create a glorious future. Barya, bold mercenaries and inventors dedicated to coin, gunpowder and exploration. The game features a story-driven campaign where you collect fragments of songs about heroic exploits. Players command one of these four unique factions, each with their own background and motivations. The main campaign tells various stories about heroes and their adventures across the fantasy realm. A fifth faction called Vanir was added as DLC in December 2024, introducing raiders from the Bleak East who transform into the Vildra.
