This collection includes Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy Story
The trilogy follows the career of Apollo Justice, a rookie defense attorney who works under Phoenix Wright. In the first game, Apollo must prove his clients are innocent while finding secrets about his mentor Phoenix Wright. The second game, Dual Destinies, takes place years later when Apollo works at the Wright Anything Agency. He teams up with Phoenix Wright and a new attorney named Athena Cykes to defend clients and find a larger conspiracy. The third game, Spirit of Justice, sees Apollo and Phoenix traveling to the kingdom of Khura’in.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy Gameplay
The gameplay is split into two main parts: investigation and courtroom trials. During the investigation, you walk around crime scenes and locations to find clues and talk to witnesses. You examine objects, collect evidence, and interview people who may know something about the case. In the courtroom, you defend your client by cross-examining witnesses. When a witness testifies, you listen carefully and look for lies or mistakes in their testimony. You can press witnesses for more information or present evidence that contradicts what they said. Apollo has a special ability called the Perceive System, where he can spot nervous habits in witnesses to catch them in lies. Athena uses the Mood Matrix to analyze witness emotions and find hidden feelings. There are 16 episodes total across all three games, including episodes that were originally downloadable content.
