MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is a fighting game compilation developed and published by Capcom. The collection was released on September 12, 2024, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Physical versions for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch came out on November 22, 2024. An Xbox One version was released on February 4, 2025. This is the second entry in Capcom’s Fighting Collection series. The collection costs $49.99 and includes seven arcade games featuring Marvel and Capcom characters. This marks the first time many of these games have appeared on modern platforms in over a decade.

The collection features seven games: X-Men Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom Clash of Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes, and The Punisher. Six of these are fighting games where players control teams of characters and battle opponents using punches, kicks, and special moves. Players can switch between team members during matches. The games use tag team mechanics where fighters can be swapped out to recover health. All fighting games support online play with rollback netcode for smooth matches. Players can compete in ranked battles or casual matches. The Punisher is a beat ’em up game where players fight through levels instead of one-on-one battles. The collection also includes a High Score Challenge mode where players try to get the highest scores and compete on global rankings.
