Saints Row Story
The story follows a person called “the Boss” who gets fired from their job at Marshall Defense Industries. The Boss decides to start a criminal gang called the Saints with three friends. There is Eli, who plans the gang’s operations and handles business matters. Kevin used to work as a DJ for another gang. Neenah is a skilled driver who used to work with a different gang. Together, they try to take over the city from other criminal groups.
The main enemies include Los Panteros, a gang that controls smuggling and fitness clubs, and the Idols, a gang that runs nightclubs. There is also Marshall Defense Industries, a military company with advanced weapons that wants to remove all gangs from Santo Ileso. The story shows how four young people build their criminal business from nothing and slowly gain control of the city.
Saints Row Gameplay
Saints Row is played from a third-person view. You walk around the city or drive vehicles to get to different places. The game has main missions that move the story forward and many side activities to do for fun. Santo Ileso is divided into nine areas. When you take over an area, you can build illegal businesses that look like normal stores. The driving in this game is better than older Saints Row games. You can use cars as weapons by ramming into enemies. When you press a button while driving fast, your car will hit other vehicles and damage them.
You can also shoot pistols and small guns while driving. Fighting uses many types of guns, like rifles, shotguns, pistols, and rocket launchers. There are also special weapons like boxing gloves on springs and sticky bombs. You can call gang members to help you in fights. There is also a two-player co-op mode where friends can play the entire game together.
Saints Row Features
You can change almost everything about your character, including face, body, clothes, and voice. You can also customize weapons and vehicles with different colors, patterns, and materials. Santo Ileso is the biggest map in any Saints Row game. The city has tall buildings and vertical spaces to explore. You can use a wingsuit to fly around and reach high places.
There are helicopters and special vehicles like hoverboards and monster trucks that you unlock by completing missions. Each weapon has special abilities that you get by finishing challenges. For example, some rifles do extra damage to vehicles, and some shotguns can shoot automatically. Vehicles also have special abilities like ejector seats, boost power, and weapons attached to them. The game has many side activities beyond the main story. You can complete vehicle theft missions, do dangerous stunts, and build your criminal business empire by opening different types of illegal shops across the city.
