Last Devil Story
The player takes on the role of Kuro, the Demon Lord and the last hope of the demon race. Kuro must leave the safety of her castle and go into the wilderness to fight for the survival of her people. On this mission, she encounters and recruits three female companions — Charlotte, Livia, and Kayla — and the player can learn about each of them as the story progresses. The goal is for Kuro to reclaim her throne and secure the future of demonkind against the threats she faces outside.
Last Devil Gameplay
Last Devil is played from a top-down 2D view. The player moves Kuro using the keyboard and attacks with the left mouse button, while the right mouse button is used for a magic shield. Dashing is done with the Space key, and bombs can be placed using the Q key. The game is a roguelite shooter, meaning that when the player dies, the run ends and they start again, but items and buffs collected along the way can vary each time. Players collect items in each run to upgrade Kuro’s skills and create new builds. Random events occur as the player moves forward, and interacting with characters or environments can grant new abilities or apply curses.

Last Devil includes a standard mode and a Hell mode, which is a harder version of the game with increasing difficulty across multiple stages. Hell mode also introduces dark versions of the main characters as opponents. The game contains adult CG scenes involving the companion characters. It supports six languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. Steam Trading Cards are supported, along with partial Steam Deck support.
