The main character is Jason, a 25-year-old man who moves into a new apartment and starts a new job at a local newspaper called The Daily Gazette. The story is a realistic slice-of-life about a young man building new friendships and romantic relationships in his new life. A supernatural side of the story also develops, as Jason discovers he has a mysterious power of attraction that the women around him seem to respond to in unusual ways. Key female characters in the story include Lexi, Alex, Maria, Madison, and Evelyn.

The game has a built-in smartphone interface that shows messages from characters and updates in real time as events in the story progress. A time-stamp feature marks every scene clearly so the player can follow the order of events. A Dynamic Gallery unlocks scene images and key moments as the story moves forward. A Statistics screen lets the player check records of interactions with each Love Interest. A Replay Mode in the Extras menu lets the player go back to any previously unlocked scene. Hidden areas across the locations unlock exclusive scenes not found in the main story flow.
The game lets the player set preferences at the start — sexual orientation, content filters, and other options — and the story adjusts to those preferences. Three DLC packs are available: a Walkthrough guide, an NSFW Realism Pack, and a Music Player DLC that includes 73 tracks. The game supports 14 languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Polish.
