It is an adult-only JAV (Japanese Adult Video) production simulation game where the player takes on the role of a director. AV Director Life! Story
The story follows Kosuke Yasuda, a man who was fired from a JAV production company. After spending his time gambling, he finds himself in a difficult financial situation. When he meets Nodoka Himeyama, a young woman struggling with a large personal debt, he sees a chance to rebuild by starting his own JAV production company. The two begin as business partners, but their relationship slowly grows into something more personal. Alongside the main story, three sub-heroines appear — Maiko, a former colleague who has feelings for Kosuke; Rem, an older woman who runs an item shop and supplies filming equipment; and Yuna, Nodoka’s best friend, who worries about her. Nodoka’s boyfriend Soya also plays a role in the story, though he remains unaware of her activities.
AV Director Life! Gameplay
The player controls Kosuke as he films, edits, and sells adult videos to pay off debt. Every five days, a debt repayment is due, so the player must stay productive. The filming phase lets the player set up scenes with Nodoka, while the editing phase involves cutting and trimming footage, selecting the right camerawork and composition. After editing, the player sets a title, genre, and price before putting the video up for sale. User ratings then impact how well the video performs. The player can also take part-time jobs around town to earn quick cash. Stamina is limited per day, so the player must manage time and energy well. The game has 17 stages, 4 minigames, over 800 animations, and a playtime of around 10 to 20 hours.
