The game was released on September 28, 2018. This is a yuri visual novel with adult content and comedy. Lucy Got Problems Story

Lucy is a young succubus who works as a spy for the Legion of Darkness. Her boss is Priestess Tiamat, a powerful demon leader. One day, Tiamat sends Lucy on an important mission to an elven forest. However, Lucy has a big problem. She is very airheaded and forgetful. When she arrives in the forest, Lucy suddenly realises she forgot what her mission was supposed to be. She cannot remember why she is there or what she needs to do. The only thing Lucy remembers is that Tiamat will be extremely angry if she returns without completing the task.

Lucy fears she might be fed to astral squids if she fails. Now Lucy must figure out what to do while surviving in a dangerous forest filled with elves, strange creatures, and unusual situations. She needs to use her personality and demon abilities to get along with the forest inhabitants and hopefully discover what her mission was before it is too late.

Lucy Got Problems Gameplay

This is a visual novel where you read text and make decisions that change the story. The game has many branching paths and different endings depending on what you choose. You can adjust the difficulty by selecting between two modes. Daring Donut mode removes point-and-click scenes. Champion Cheesecake mode includes all gameplay features. You can also turn timed choices on or off if you want more or less time pressure. When Lucy dies from wrong decisions, you can jump back to the last choice and try a different option.

The game includes Quick Time Events where you press buttons at the right time during action scenes. There are also small mini-games where you collect items or interact with objects. It takes about three to five hours to see everything the game has to offer. You can replay the game to find all the different paths and endings you missed.

Lucy Got Problems Features

The game has colourful anime-style artwork with characters who have unique designs and personalities. All the characters are female since this is a yuri game. Some character sprites and backgrounds have partial animations. The Steam version includes an adult content patch that you can download for free to unlock explicit scenes and dialogue. You can turn the adult patch on or off in the game settings. The game has full controller support for easier playing. The music was composed by Sei Mutsuki and includes 62 background tracks from PeriTune. The game received very positive reviews with 89% approval from players.
