Even in their defeat, the Gahars never truly died. They went to slumber and bode their time, waiting patiently for their opportunity to rise. The story continues from the original game, where the evil Gahars have returned after their defeat. Players assume the role of the Striver of Dibrom, the same hero from the previous game, who must once again fight through a demonic plague that threatens the land. The main objective is to defeat the five Lords of Ire as you fight for your life across tortured landscapes, rending the evil Gahars of their flesh-bound forms.
