Noctuary Story
Noctuary happens in Inlixaland, following Fancia Dream and Alina Nightsong, two beings known as Illuminators who want to become Aroborangers. This job includes various tasks, like fighting creatures of Darkness called Darkritters. On an early training mission, they meet an illuminator who has lost her memories. Alina and Fancia go on a mission to save the new Illuminator, who got lost in the forest. From this point, the story goes through big ups and downs, pulling readers into this magical place and the lively cast of characters. The story focuses on how the two main characters become stronger and face bigger dangers while training to become protectors.
Noctuary Gameplay
Noctuary mixes isometric action combat with a visual novel style. The gameplay is like arena-style action combat, similar to the Seiken Densetsu series. You can switch between the two girls with a button press, and both girls have three combat styles with various uses. Fight back the Darkness in real-time battles with combo attacks. The game switches between reading text and dialogue like a visual novel and real-time combat parts. Players control both Fancia and Alina, changing between them during battles to use their special abilities and fighting styles.
