Humanity left Earth long ago, and what remains of the human population now lives spread across the galaxy. The player character is a young man caught up in an ongoing intergalactic conflict. After a major battle at Aeon Station comes to an end, the player finds himself traveling back across the Milky Way to help a friend who is in danger. Along the way, he continues his relationships with the women he has come to know. The story is split into numbered parts, and players can build romantic connections with five main female characters: Ashe, Kaylee, SAndrA, Vesnia, Elysra, and Emily. The game carries forward relationship data from Season 1 for returning players.

The game features thousands of new 3D renders and animated adult scenes across its multiple update releases. A personality selection option is available at the start, letting the player pick a tone for the main character — friendly, witty, or aggressive — and this shapes how dialogue plays out with other characters.
