TerraScape is a city-building puzzle game that was developed by Bitfall Studios and published by Stray Fawn Publishing and INSTINCT3. The game was released in Early Access on April 5, 2023, and the full version came out on July 17, 2024, for PC through Steam and GOG. In this game, you build kingdoms on floating islands by placing buildings in strategic positions to earn points and create beautiful cities.

TerraScape Gameplay
TerraScape uses a card-based approach to city building. You select from different themed decks like fishing, village, or farming, and receive a hand of cards. Every card represents a building that you can place on a hexagonal map. Where you put buildings is important because placement determines how many points you get. Buildings placed next to similar types will usually give you more points.
The game works in turns, where you draw cards and place them on the map. When you earn enough points, you get new cards as bonus items. The maps are randomly generated for every session, so the layout is never the same twice. You need to think carefully about where to put each building because space is limited on the floating islands.
When you arrange certain buildings in specific patterns, they combine into larger structures called Merged Buildings. For example, placing four village houses in a diamond shape creates a Longhouse. These merged structures are stronger, give more points, and sometimes provide extra cards or special effects. There are over a dozen types of merged buildings you can find and use.
TerraScape Features
TerraScape offers several game modes for players. There is a single-player mode where you can play at your leisure and build cities. The game also has multiplayer options where you can compete or cooperate with other players.
The game includes multiple themed building decks. Fishing decks focus on water-related structures, village decks have houses and community buildings, and farming decks include agricultural structures.
