The Banger Edition includes the main game plus the official music album by Brandon McKagan, which contains 58 tracks and almost two hours of techno-rock and metal music that plays during the action.

The story follows a test subject called Subject 106 who wakes up in a Horizon blacksite facility. The character has no memory of who they are or what happened before. A mysterious group contacts and helps the character escape from this dangerous military location. Throughout the game, it becomes clear that Subject 106 has been given supernatural powers through secret experiments. The character can do things far beyond normal human abilities. The main mission is to fight through dangerous locations and find out the truth about the experiments and why they were done. The character must face the organization responsible for their condition.

Trepang2 is an action shooter inspired by classic 2000s first-person shooters like F.E.A.R. and Crysis. The game starts with stealth sections where the player is weak and handcuffed. As players advance, they unlock more weapons and supernatural powers. The main ability is time manipulation, which slows down everything except the player. This helps dodge bullets and aim at enemies more easily. Another key ability is a cloaking device that turns the player invisible for sneaking past guards or launching surprise attacks. Players can punch enemies with superhuman strength and kick objects at them. The game includes a single-player campaign with main missions and six side missions. There is also a combat simulator mode with 20 maps for practicing combat skills and testing weapons.
