Ready or Not is a tactical shooter where you control a SWAT team during dangerous operations. You lead a five-person squad through various locations like gas stations, houses, hotels, and office buildings. Your main job is to rescue hostages, arrest or stop armed criminals, and complete objectives while following proper police procedures. The game requires careful planning before entering any area. You must use tools like door wedges, flashbangs, and pepper spray to control situations.
The AI enemies are smart and react differently based on their type. Some criminals will hide and attack, while others may surrender or run away. Military-trained suspects will use cover and try to flank your team. You can give orders to your AI teammates using a command system.
