It is a sequel to the 2017 game Welcome to Hanwell and continues the horror story in the Westminster area of London.

Beyond Hanwell Story
You return to Hanwell to explore Westminster, a ruined part of London. The game follows your quest to discover the truth about a mysterious figure known as The Director. As you travel through the abandoned city, you must find secrets about yourself and what happened to this area. The story is non-linear, which means you can explore locations and follow the plot in any order you want. The game contains notes, documents, and environmental clues that reveal the history of what happened to Westminster and Hanwell.
Beyond Hanwell Gameplay
The game uses a first-person perspective and survival horror mechanics. You explore Westminster on foot, searching buildings, streets, and underground areas. The game has no HUD on screen, which means all information about your health, ammunition, and inventory appears within the game environment.
Combat uses a dual control melee system where you can land hits and perform combos by pressing two buttons. You can attack creatures called Anomalies with melee weapons or guns.
