NieR:Automata Story and Setting
The game takes place in a future Earth where humanity has been forced to leave the planet after an alien invasion. In their absence, an army of machines controlled by aliens begins to take over. The game follows the story of three main characters: 2B, an android soldier; 9S, a scanner android; and A2.
