Riven: Deluxe Edition Story
The story continues right after the events of Myst. You help Atrus, a character from the previous game, with a dangerous mission. Atrus needs you to go to a place called Riven to rescue his wife, Catherine. She is trapped there by Atrus’s father, Gehn, who rules over the islands with an iron fist. Gehn believes he can create worlds by writing special books, but his attempts are destroying Riven. The islands are falling apart, and the people living there are suffering. You must find Catherine, stop Gehn, and help the native people of Riven escape before their home is completely destroyed.

This remake transforms the original point-and-click game into a fully 3D experience. You can walk around freely in all directions instead of clicking between fixed screens. Every puzzle has a logical solution based on clues you find while exploring. You need to take notes and remember important details because the game does not provide hints or guidance.
