Mickey Mouse accidentally enters the Wasteland, where forgotten Disney characters live. The Wasteland is ruled by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first cartoon character. Mickey spills magic paint and thinner, which damages the Wasteland and creates the Shadow Blot monster. Now Mickey must help Oswald fix the Wasteland and stop the Shadow Blot. Mickey meets many forgotten Disney characters during his adventure. The story shows how Mickey learns to be a hero and helps others. Oswald and Mickey start as enemies but slowly become friends. The Wasteland has many areas based on old Disney attractions and cartoons.
