Hitman: Blood Money is a stealth video game released in 2006 as the fourth installment of the Hitman franchise, developed by IO Interactive. The game was made available for Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox, and Microsoft Windows. After its launch, the game has sold more than 2 million units worldwide.

Hitman: Blood Money gives players the ability to control Agent 47. You are assigned many targets, and it is your job to carefully plan and assassinate each target to complete a mission. Agent 47 always has challenges facing armed guards and security checkpoints that try to prevent you from reaching your targets.

Using a third-person perspective, you have to use various methods to eliminate your targets. You are usually required to eliminate your target without causing a commotion or making too much noise. Doing otherwise will only penalize you in the end. There is a notoriety system that monitors your movements. It is your job to ensure that it is always low no matter the mission. This will help you throughout the entire game.

If you are familiar with the Hitman franchise, you probably know by now that you are playing as the professional hitman, Agent 47. The story of this installment is about how Agent 47 is trying to stop the activities of a rival contract-killing organization threatening his bosses working for the International Contract Agency (ICA). The entire story is narrated by Alexander Leland “Jack” Cayne to an American journalist Rick Henderson. The game continues with its usual third-person perspective view.

The hitman franchise develops only single-player games, and there are no multiplayer versions available. You can only play the campaign mode because that is what the hitman franchise is known for. Players can only control the main protagonist, Agent 47 throughout the entire game.

Well as you can imagine, you are not getting the best of graphics because the game was released in 2006. But you can still enjoy the game simply by overlooking minor aspects of the graphics. Expect little to no glitches because the game does not put any strain on your system.

There are more control options available for players compared to the past releases. Players can now control more aspects of the games. For example, players have the ability to climb obstacles, dispose of dead bodies, engage in non-weapon combat, use a non-player character as protection or shield.

Before you can complete the game you have to eliminate targets spread across 8 locations, having 12 missions in total. Each map comes with advantages and disadvantages. You might find it easier to assassinate your target in one location but difficult in another. Familiarize yourself with the maps before making any final decision to make the finding and killing of your target easier.
