Gameplay

You begin Pizza Tower as Chef Peppino Spaghetti, a troubled chef who must act fast to save his prized pizzeria. The chef needs to get over a tower to prevent impending damage to his pizza place, and he must complete this task in 20 levels.

Each side-scrolling level comes with its impressive set of features that allows gamers experience the chef’s journey to save his pizza parlour.

Difficulty

Pizza Tower does not adopt the regular lives or health system used in most games. The game only relies on player’s potential achievements to assign difficulty throughout each mission. Players can collide with obstacles and not receive any damage. However, impact with some objects can subtract a couple of seconds from the timer and reduce scores gained in the level.

Boss fights

Chef Peppino must encounter bosses through this game to progress to the next level. The only time when he can experience health damage is during these boss fights. Also, the chef can experience health damage during battles against enemies like cheese cowboy, the Noise, and the Vigilante.

You can dodge attacks from these enemies using provided controls and retaliate to reduce their health bar. Several attacks are available to the chef across levels with some stages offering weapons like guns or powered-up abilities.

Alternate Mode

Players can get the Noise as a playable character with a recent update to the base game. The New Game Plus version allows players control one of the chef’s archenemies and supports access to new movements throughout the game. You will also get a different user interface and background music while playing as the Noise in this alternate mode.

The game’s alternate version became available after a free core update in mid-March 2024.

Replay Value

Limitation(s)
